Newton Turkey Trot Mission
The Newton Turkey Trot is celebrating its 10th year! We hope that the race will have something for everyone. We have been so inspired by having our runners in far-flung places, we want you to bring your sneakers everywhere and spread the love!

Join us on Saturday, November 18th at Zervas elementary school for the in-person run or run your own virtual race during the Thanksgiving week, November 19-26th, anywhere in the country. The beautiful, USATF Certified, Newton Turkey Trot course and 1-mile kids fun run will be marked with race signs during that week.

Our goals this November remain, as always, our youth’s awareness of health and wellness and of community service. We will continue our partnership of providing support to the Newton Food Pantry, Centre Street Food Pantry and Journey Forward, a non-profit organization dedicated to bettering lives of those with spinal cord injuries or disability.

Participants registered by October 22th will receive an awesome Newton Turkey Trot tee-shirt.

The Newton Turkey Trot is a family event that has drawn more than 1,300 participants each year from our community and beyond. Our families of runners are continuing to enjoy running outside again and will want to continue to support our fundraising goals. The Newton Food Pantry, Centre Street Food Pantry and Journey Forward need our support. We hope you will continue to support our race and your community.

***We will be following the recommended Covid-19 safety measures per the city of Newton, MDPH and CDC for all participants and volunteers for the race. Given the uncertainty of the Covid-19 pandemic, the in-person race may be cancelled. In this case the race would become completely virtual and refunds cannot be offered. Thank you for understanding.

Happy training and be well,

the Newton Turkey Trot Team
